It was a long and difficult process to accomplish that digital painting in a way that would be as close as the real photo. I paint with the click of my mouse. One click at the time. I had to start over and over again as I was not satistied with many of them. I spent a least 5 hours to do the eyes and make them look very realistic . If you zoom on the eyes very closely you will see all different colors that looks intertwined, messy looking with no purposes. Tiny little dots in a cicle . But stand back and look at them again and they look deep and luminous. I guess it I was inspired a little by impressionism expression..not certain how it is called in English. Like Monet 's technique ..I stragically placed dots of light and dark to give a sense of depth to the painting, along with the textures in the bricks , and in her hair. (She has very strait her in reality. but I tought a funky hairdo would be fun to do.) In the hair do I made the mouse clicking very evident.
